Erika LeBarre is a Michigan based freelance illustrator. Erika graduated from the College for Creative Studies with a BFA in illustration. Initially she worked at an art studio with other illustrators and designers for over four years. Since then she has worked on her own for a wide variety of clients over the course of her nearly 20 year career. Some of the clients have included Splenda, Pepsi Cola, Inc., Coca Cola, Inc., Dr. Pepper, Budweiser, GMAC, GM, Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, Honda, LaQuinta Inns & Suites, Proctor & Gamble, AAA, American Movie Cinemas, PGA Golf Magazine, MCI, Nascar Magazine, Amway Corp., Georgia-Pacific, Inc., Mopar, A.C. Delco, Rich’s Products, Inc., U.A.W., LA-Z-BOY, Inc., Steelcase, Inc., Corvette Quarterly Magazine, Iberian Airlines, Compuware, Manhattan Bagel, Centex Homes, The Humane Society, McGraw-Hill, Scholastic, Houghton-Mifflin, Harcourt Publishing, Inc., Pearson Scott Foresman, Harper-Collins, and Zondervan Publishing House.  She has worked on diverse range of projects such as product labels, posters, point of purchase, signage, direct mail, magazine ads, editorial, textbooks, logos, websites and even character development.



Erika’s working techniques include pastel, acrylic and some digital work using Illustrator. She creates illustrations using textures, smooth gradations and intense color that can create a look that is anywhere from stylized, whimsical, editorial, conceptual and graphic line/flat color to somewhat realistic with a twist of fantasy to them. She loves to illustrate animals, people, children, scenes or just about any subject a client will bring to her.


Erika LeBarre is available for any kind of commercial advertising projects, product label and packaging projects, editorial for magazines, newspapers, any publishing work like gift books, textbook and educational for children and adults, character development, work for websites, greeting cards and so forth.
